I noticed, how people now of days have gone to a great lengths to edit their person image. When i was out the other night with a few friends, and i noticed one of them constantly subconsciously looking at themselves in anything with a reflection. i don't think in his case its conceitedness but it wasn't a "oh i look gooooood" kind of glace it was more of "how do i look how do i look" kind of glance. Older lady's used to come into my work and ask, "what can i work out in that wont show these" (pointing toward the non existent stomach rolls). teenagers always tend to over edit a photo before uploading it onto their Twitter, Facebook, My Yearbook ect. I see these young high schoolers, caking on the makeup to look good yaduh yaduh, and its because they are not comfortable with their personal image which is really sad.
Im not gunnuh lie, i feel the same, but i try to avoid taking that second glance at anything with reflections cause i would rather go the day without having to worry about what fits on my face or how my ass looks in my jeans or how my hair looks. i know thats its an entire worlds habit but it honestly bugs me.
